Personal Checks
The account title on the personal checking account must be similar to the Zions Direct account title for the deposit to be accepted.
Bank Checks
Bank checks may only be used for amounts greater than $10,000 and they must have your name or account number printed by the bank on the check.
Please be sure to make your check payable to "Zions Direct" and write your account number on the check. Failure to follow these instructions may cause a delay in the processing of your deposit.
Zions Direct does not accept:
Money Orders under $10,000.
Cashier's Checks under $10,000.
Third-Party Checks - The bank account title differs from the Zions Direct account title and the checks are made payable to Zions Direct
Business Checks in non-business accounts without Sole Proprietorship documentation.
Credit/charge cards and their associated checks.
Cash.
Travelers Checks.
Foreign Bank Draft Checks and foreign denominations.
Starter Checks.
Note: Exceptions to the above policy may be made on an individual case basis and at the sole discretion of Zions Direct.
Second-Party Checks - These are checks in which the account title on the checking account differs from the Zions Direct account title, but the check is made payable to the name of the Zions Direct account owner.
These checks are accepted but the funds in the account will be restricted from withdrawal until the maker of the check is contacted and the source of the funds is verified.

Please note: Zions Direct restricts the withdrawal of funds deposited by check for seven (7) business days after receipt of the
check (10 business days for accounts open less than 30 days). However, this withdrawal restriction does not affect automatic investment into a money market fund,
reduction of any debit balance or the ability to pay for, or purchase, additional securities. *
*Over the Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) securities and securities trading for less than $1.00 per share cannot be purchased using funds deposited by check if the
purchase is made during the 7-day holding period (10-day holding period for accounts opened less than 30 days).
